Sifu Ajie Sulistyo is the oldest student of the Tao Chan Wing Chun Grandmaster Academy in Munich, where he has been the 1st deputy headmaster for many years together with Sifu Günbay, who represents and supports Grandmaster Abbot Chi Sim in the school in Munich, and is also one of the oldest students of Tao Chan Wing Chun Kung Fu in Germany.
Sifu Ajie has decades of experience in Tao Chan Wing Chun Kung Fu and is a direct private student of Grandmaster Abbot Chi Sim at the Tao Chan Wing Chun Grandmaster Academy in Burgthann near Nuremberg, which is only responsible for teacher grades.

Together with his Kung Fu brother, Sifu Günbay, he runs the Tao Chan Wing Chun Academy in Augsburg on behalf of the founder of Tao Chan Wing Chun Kung Fu, Grand Master Abbot Chi Sim.
Born and raised in Indonesia into a family with a Chinese background, he was exposed to the teachings of Confucianism from birth. His kung fu siblings and students can easily see that he has internalized these teachings.
His first encounter with a martial art was in his childhood when he learned Kung Fu from the Lo Ban Teng (盧萬定) lineage - one of the most famous Kung Fu masters in Indonesia, whose Kung Fu style, like Wing Chun, can also be traced back to the Shaolin Monastery in China.
After the course of life had brought him to Germany, Sifu Ajie longed for martial arts again and he began searching for a style that was suitable for his circumstances.

The school's foundation of self-overcoming with self-responsibility as well as the concept of teaching as a means of learning and the family principle, both strongly based on Confucianism, have convinced Sifu Ajie to be part of Tao Chan Wing Chun Kung Fu and to lead the school in Augsburg.

In recent years, Sifu Ajie Sulistyo has taken first place several times in Europe in the annual free fighting competition of all schools of the Tao Chan Wing Chun organization in Tao Chan Wing Chun in his grade.
He is also the recipient of the Chi Sim Gold Award for outstanding achievements in Tao Chan Wing Chun and the Chi Sim Special Award for renewed outstanding achievements in Tao Chan Wing Chun, personally awarded by his Sifu, Grand Master Abbot Chi Sim.
Sifu Ajie is a graduate engineer by profession. He is a native Indonesian speaker, fluent in German and English, and speaks some Chinese.
