Tao Chan Wing Chun unites the original Wing Chun from the lineage of the eldest son of Grand Master IP Man, Prof . Dr. Ip Chun with the direct line of the Chan Patriarch going back to South Shaolin through Grand Master Abbot Chi Sim.

Abbot Chi Sin is a 54th generation Chan monk. His lineage goes directly back to Bodhidharma, the founder of Shaolin and Chan, he is also an 81st generation Chan monk in the direct lineage of the historical Buddha Shakyamuni.

He was given by the Chan Patriarch in the reunification of Wing Chun with the Shaolin Chan lineage of the last abbot of South Shaolin Abbot Chi Sim, also the monk name Chi Sim.
